Job Description:

Our client, a regional metal casting manufacturer is looking for an Electrical and Control Engineer.As an Electrical and Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and enhancing machine control solutions. Your responsibilities will include:Design and Modification:Create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, as well as panel layouts.Develop and modify machine control systems, including robotic platforms.Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other automation controls.Collaboration:Participate in specification reviews, drawing assessments, and factory run-offs.Work closely with customers to support machinery installation and commissioning.Team Support:Mentor entry-level Electrical/Controls Technicians to ensure accurate work and timely project completion.Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs, including RS Logix.Familiarity with precision industrial automation machinery using hydraulic and pneumatic actuators.Skilled in creating electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD.Experience with electrical distribution, motor controls, variable frequency drives, servo controls, and pneumatic/hydraulic circuits.Bonus: Familiarity with Fanuc robots.Willingness to travel primarily within North America (travel durations may extend up to 2 weeks).Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial machine building and field service.Bachelor's or Associate's degree in related disciplines (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electrical Controls Engineering, Engineering Technology) or equivalent technical experience.Previous experience with an equipment manufacturer is advantageous.Immediate start date. Location based in Cleveland. No relocation available.
