DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Construction Estimator to join our team in the construction industry. As a Residential Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing construction projects, estimating costs, and ensuring the successful completion of residential construction projects. If you have a strong eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for construction, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis and assessments of construction project requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Estimate and calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate and comprehensive project estimates
• Review and evaluate bid proposals and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Prepare comprehensive and detailed project budgets and cost breakdowns
• Track and monitor project expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs and practicesRequirements
  • Proven experience as a Residential Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry
  • custom homebuilding new ground construction or production homebuilding
  • Multi-family or townhomes experience will be considered
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a high attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
  • Proficient in using construction estimation software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
