and R&D. The Account Manager Position The Account Manager is
responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with
key customers while driving sales growth and identifying
opportunities to expand market share. This position requires a
proactive, relationship-driven professional who can manage a large
customer portfolio and ensure client satisfaction through
consistent communication, problem solving, and value-added service.
The Account Manager develops and manages a portfolio of 100–200
customers with regular outreach and support, identifies key
accounts representing major growth opportunities, visits customers
and prospective customers to assist with service and product needs,
generates new business by leveraging existing customer
relationships and referrals, and creates and implements annual
sales action plans to meet growth objectives. Desired Experience,
Skills, and Abilities of the Account Manager Bachelor’s degree in
marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field 5 years of
sales or account management experience in an industrial setting
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills High
sense of urgency with the ability to multitask and prioritize
effectively Sound business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
Experience using Great Plains or equivalent ERP/CRM software
preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook,
PowerPoint, etc.) Demonstrated ability to develop trust and rapport
with customers and colleagues Compensation, Benefits, and Structure
