Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A full-time special education teaching position is
available at a K-12 school in Madison Heights, VA. This contract
role covers the current school year (CSY) and focuses on serving an
elementary caseload. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to
fostering inclusive educational environments tailored to the unique
needs of students with disabilities. Responsibilities: Develop and
implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for elementary
students with special needs Collaborate with general education
teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective learning
strategies Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting
instructional approaches accordingly Maintain accurate records and
comply with all special education regulations Promote a positive
and supportive classroom atmosphere Qualifications: Valid Special
Education Teacher certification appropriate for K-12 education
Experience working with elementary-aged students in special
education settings Strong knowledge of special education laws,
assessment, and instructional techniques Effective communication
and teamwork skills Commitment to student-centered learning and
