This opportunity is for a Special Education Director/Resource Room Teacher role that combines direct instruction with leadership and program administration in a K-12 educational setting. It offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with an immediate start date. Key responsibilities include: Delivering direct instruction to a caseload of 8-9 students in a resource room setting. Overseeing special education programs, ensuring compliance with educational standards. Supervising and supporting special education teachers and staff. Collaborating with school leadership to implement individualized academic plans. Upholding the school's core beliefs around student success and inclusive education. Qualifications and experience desired: Valid K-12 special education teaching license. Proven experience working with resource room students. Strong leadership skills in special education program management. Ability to balance instructional duties with administrative responsibilities.
