Job Description:
Manage test cell operation while providing technical
coordination between JM Testing and the JM HDD group. Assist in the
planning and execution of application test programs and in the
analysis and interpretation of test results.Your
responsibilities:Maintains daily contact with customers: Provide
daily status, scheduling information and technical results. This
position requires a high level of customer interaction, to include
onsite/offsite meetings. Monitors test cells daily to make sure
customer test requirements are being met.Provides technical support
to include analysis and testing problems and assists in the
diagnosis of these problems in a 24/5 operation.Submits work orders
and written line-up instructions to move the project through the
JMT process. Assists in prioritizing workload in diesel test cells.
Responsible for reviewing and signing off of daily test cell shift
reports.Ensures proper documentation and test requests are in place
at JMT. This ensures ISO traceability.Assists in the development
and planning of appropriate JM test programs. Provides input when
appropriate, into the design of customer test programs to ensure
the generation of accurate and timely data.Keeps current with
advances in customer calibration strategy. Communicates changes to
appropriate JM personnel along with an assessment of the impact and
probable effect on performance of JM catalyst systems.Provides
technical support to calibration engineers to help in the analysis
of catalyst performance problems and assists in the diagnosis and
solution of these problems.Provides analysis and interpretation of
technical data and emission test results. Ensures accurate and
timely communication of data between JMT and JM Diesel
Team.Provides technical advice and direction in the design,
fabrication, and use of mechanical hardware such as fixtures,
converters, injection systems, instrumentation, and control
systems.Lead engineering projects (varying in scale) requiring
coordination of various groupsActively participate in a strong EHS
culture and comply with all Johnson Matthey EHS policies and
procedures.Employee will comply with all Johnson Matthey Hazardous
Waste procedures and local, state and federal regulatory
requirements.Performs other duties as assigned, including back-up
roles across other test cells.Requirements for the
role:Program/project management experienceEngineering degree or 5+
years of experience in Catalyst Testing FieldMicrosoft Office
(Excel, Word, Access, etc.)Test Control software Experience (INCA,
AnD, etc) desirableCatalyst & exhaust emission experience including
CFR Part 1065 preferredStrong computer and macro programming skills
such as Excel, Diadem and vBA for Excel preferredExperience with
exhaust analysis equipment such as Horiba MEXA, MKS FTIR s
desirableStrong computer programming skills such as Excel VBA,
