Job Description:
Stellantis Tech Research’s Propulsion Controls department is
seeking an experienced controls engineer to lead and develop
high-quality controls algorithms and solutions. We are looking for
top talent to continue the development of disruptive Propulsion
technologies for Stellantis while also collaborating with our
research partners. We are seeking an Engineer with experience in
control systems, particularly in propulsion or vehicle control
systems development. The candidate must be a strong team player,
quick learner, out-of-the-box thinker, systems-focused with
interdisciplinary experience and drive to challenge the status quo.
The candidate must be willing to work in a disruptive yet
fast-paced environment. The candidate should be very efficient and
clear at communicating by virtual methods and must be willing to
follow a detailed work plan and be prepared to generate elaborate
project reports. The ideal candidate will be able to significantly
contribute in many of the following areas: Classical and Modern
control systems Energy management and charging systems Vehicle
controls (chassis, brake regen, ride control) Data science based
controls techniques like AI/ML Electrified Propulsion or Engine
controls Utilization of sensors in feedback and feedforward control
strategies Integrated Propulsion control (torque characterization,
engine/motor/transmission interactions) Propulsion optimization
strategies Auxiliary load management and optimization Thermal
characterization and thermal management Energy efficiency and
