Job Description:
Level 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designation in
Metro Detroit is seeking an experienced Neuroendovascular Surgery
APP for an immediate start/locum need. Emergency privileges are
available! Name your rate! We offer weekly direct deposit, travel
reimbursement for non-local candidates, and complimentary medical
malpractice coverage. May-August Inpatient, hospital-based setting
with responsibilities for rounding, consults, and postoperative
care No OR/First Assist or procedural work required other than
simple sutures for minor laceration repair Must have a basic
understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies, ICU
care, neurosurgical elective procedures, and postoperative
management Coverage includes 240 hours in a 6-week schedule with
weekend shifts Hours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., in-house coverage
required Weekend coverage required every 4th week No on-call duties
Expected to see an average of 10 patients per day EMR system used:
eCare/Cerner Board Certified (ANCC, AANP or NCCPA) - REQUIRED
Active MI license - REQUIRED Clean Background- REQUIRED BLS, ENLS,
NIHSS - REQUIRED MI addressed DEA (Verbal Confirmation) - REQUIRED
Conversion rate cap: $16,000- Required at time of presentation
