Behavioral Health is a nonprofit agency that offers specialized
counseling in the field of substance abuse, mental health, and
behavioral treatment services. Our mission is to provide

Summary: Plans, directs and manages all clinical related programs
and services. Plans, organizes and implements effective operational
policies and procedures. Coordinates operational quality assurance
plans; monitors operational compliance with external reviewers
(e.g. Medicare, CARF, OHMAS, etc.). Provides leadership, management
and vision necessary to ensure that the agency has the proper
operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and
people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to
ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Investigates
all unusual problems involving client care and/or program
management. Serves as consultant and liaison to subordinates and
other staff. Develops, writes and updates operations and procedure
manuals and conducts site visits to all operational areas to review
client care services. The position accomplishes this through a
respectful, constructive, energetic style, guided by the objectives
of the agency. Performs related work activities as required and
assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides clinical
management to all areas of clinical service delivery in the agency;
establishes goals and objectives aimed at program growth and
efficacy of treatment in assigned service/program areas; identifies
and oversee the implementation of evidenced based practices and
outcomes measurement in assigned service/program areas; develops,
in conjunction with Management Team, proposed objectives, staffing
patterns and budgets for clinical services; implements year-round
programming that addresses client needs and meets all applicable
standards; provides managerial oversight to all team members;
ensures all direct service staff are provided clinical supervision
to all team members assigned to the program; recommends a system of
programming for achieving budget goals and assuring quality of care
by adhering to relevant best practices and State mandated
requirements; works with staff to identify program development and
growth opportunities; ensures that treatment decisions are made in
the best interest of the client; provides and documents individual
and group supervision; ensures agency compliance with Medicaid and
other applicable standards to achieve organizational efficiencies
and supervise professional and/or paraprofessional staff;
responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes
internal and external; provides timely, accurate and complete
reports on the operating conditions of the clinical services;
collaborates with the management team to develop and implement
plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and
personnel designed to accommodate growth objectives of the agency;
conducts annual and introductory evaluations of all direct
reporting employees and contractors (as applicable); manages
hiring, evaluation, and terminations in consult with Human
Resources; performs other duties as deemed as necessary and
appropriate by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree
from an accredited college or university in social work or
counseling coupled with a minimum of seven (7) years demonstrated
experience in clinical management and licensure as a LISW, LPCC,
additional certification in substance abuse counseling is
preferred. LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred. Must have a valid vehicle
operator’s license and complete CPR training within 90 days of
hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of
social work and case management practices and protocols;
demonstrated knowledge of the concept of team building and
constructive leadership; demonstrated knowledge of substance abuse
and mental health programming; excellent computer skills, including
proficiency in Microsoft Office; must have excellent oral and
written communication skills; must be able to problem solve and to
be able to operate independently in the absence of supervisor; must
be detailed and deadline oriented; ability to meet changing demands
and exhibit a high degree of professionalism; demonstrated ability
to meet deadlines; ability to effectively interact with all levels
of staff, clients and other agencies and the public; demonstrated
ability to provide effective leadership and/or assistance to
coworkers and clients through the integrated care process; ability
to demonstrate consistent professionalism; ability to Abide by the
agencies and/or professional code of ethics. Excellent written and
oral communication skills. Experience in Microsoft WORD and Excel.
