Technician / Technologist Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,253 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Sleep Technologist Profession: Sleep Technology Specialty: N/A Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 730 PM - 630 AM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Preferred experience working with children License: Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Certifications: BCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Must-Have: Candidate must be registered. Candidate must have BLS. Candidate will receive on-the-job training. Description: Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations. Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs). Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines, including sleep stages, respiratory events, and limb movements. Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation. Maintain compliance with relevant standards of conduct. Work with patients starting from 5 years of age. Candidate will work at various sleep lab locations based on need. Skills: Strong knowledge of sleep center guidelines for sleep reliability scoring. Able to score sleep reliability by established guidelines. Education/Experience Required: High school diploma or G.E.D. required. A bachelor's degree with some scientific coursework preferred.
