JOB SUMMARY FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER:

• Work on a Effortless Maintenance & Repair (EM&R) Product Team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Designer to deliver projects and features to support future Mobility Vehicle programs.RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER:
  • Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible to Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy applications/services
  • Grow technical capabilities/expertise and provide guidance to other team members in the mobility Organization
  • Work with team members to establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk
  • Ensure quality, on-time delivery using agile, test driven development principles
  • Span multiple environments consisting of Vehicle, Cloud, and Mobile Applications to support end-to-end feature delivery.
  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional stakeholders
  • Review and support product defect analysis efforts.
  • Should be able to pick up production issues and work on the fixes independently
  • Should be able to work with BAs and understand the requirements and handle the end-to-end project lifecycle of that module independentlyREQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER:
    • Experience developing software in a Microservice architecture
    • Experience developing RESTful services, Backend processor/services
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Experience designing/implementing APIs/Microservices/Spring Boot framework/PCF/Kubernetes
    • Experience with Cloud environments (Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Google Cloud Platform)
    • Development experience in multiple programming environments consisting of Vehicle, Cloud, and Mobile Applications.
    • Experience with authentication such as OAuth2, Azure or PCF, PCF tools
    • Passion for learning new business area, technologies and practices
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • 3+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
    • 2+ years of Spring and Spring Boot framework experience.
    • 2+ years of experience with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies
    • 2+ years of experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management, Source Code Management, Test Management, CI/CD).
    • 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments (Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry / Google Cloud platform).
    • 2+ Experience in SQL Database
      Must complete Hacker Rank Assessment
