In this vital role, you'll handle the transportation and management of hazardous materials, playing a key role in our mission to safeguard the environment. This position requires compliance with safety standards and diligent operational practices to ensure the secure handling and disposal of hazardous waste. You will work in varying locations, offering a dynamic work environment while contributing to the sustainability and safety efforts across North America. Operate Class A Vacuum Tankers in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations. Transport hazardous waste across regional locations safely and efficiently. Perform daily inspections on equipment and maintain logs according to DOT and company standards. Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely service and route management. Respond to emergency situations or spills as part of the emergency response team when needed. Engage in ongoing training regarding hazardous material handling and emergency response. Proficient in driving Class A vehicles, particularly vacuum tankers. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance. Ability to manage and maintain logs and records digitally and on paper. Good communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and emergency teams.
