Job Description Job Description Description: We are seeking a
skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist,
you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of
machines to produce high-quality precision components for tooling
to make parts according to customer specifications. This role
requires a strong understanding of machining processes, exceptional
attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced job shop environment. If you have a passion for

encourage you to apply. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints,
and work orders to determine machining requirements. Select
appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each
machining operation. Align and secure workpieces using clamps,
vises, and other holding devices. Perform machining operations,
including turning, facing, boring, drilling, tapping, milling,
surface grinding, and threading, with precision and adherence to
quality standards. Inspect machined components using precision
measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and
Optical Comparators, to verify part accuracy. Make necessary
adjustments and modifications to tooling to maintain quality and
productivity. Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues and related
to stamping and fabricating tooling. Collaborate with engineering
and production teams improve product quality through better tool
design. Set up and operate CNC Machining Center and Wire EDM (as
required, training available). Adhere to safety guidelines and
maintain a clean and organized work area. Complete work orders,
production reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely
manner. Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or technical school
certificate. Experience as a Manual Machinist in a fabricating job
shop or similar environment. Proficiency in operating manual
machining tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and
drill presses. Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling,
and cutting parameters. Ability to read and interpret technical
drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent understanding
of precision measuring instruments and inspection methods.
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving machining issues.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and
high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a
team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the
ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Physical
stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift
heavy objects. Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a
clean and organized work area.
