The Software Engineer role will work on a Balanced Team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Designer to deliver projects and features to support future Connected Vehicle programs. Emerging mode software developer will be responsible for working in the full technology stack. - Serve as Full Stack Software Engineer in CVFMA team to Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support Connected Vehicle Feature Management. -Grow technical capabilities/expertise and provide guidance to other members on the team and mobility Organization -Work with team members to establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk. - Ensure quality, on-time delivery using agile, test driven development principles. - Collaborate with a balanced team of developers to deliver projects/features. - Span multiple environments (Vehicle, Cloud, and Mobile) to support end-to-end feature delivery. - Collaborate with global, cross-functional stakeholdersSkills Required: * In Depth experience working with Java, hands on experience with Java 8+ and newer language features* Development experience with ORM open source, such as JPA, Hibernate, EclipseLink Proficiency with Design Patterns and Data Structures* Experience in API related technologies such as SOAP,JSON,XML, REST, Swagger. RAML, Postman and WSDL Experience with Kanban or XP methodology and practices - Spring and Spring Boot frameworks experience* Experience with microservice architecture and REST services - Experience with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies* Strong communication/collaboration skills - Concurrent Programming and Threads - Development experience with SQL Server* Experience in Message queue systems like Rabbit MQ /kafka - Experience in Hazzle/Redis cache - Knowledge of 12 factor implementation* Knowledge of SOLID principles - Experience of PCF and deployment strategies like blue green deployment - knowledge of CICD pipelines using Jenkins* Knowledge of Authentication using OAuth - knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure/AWS. - Experience with log4j. Sonarcube, Splunk, Json, Postman/SOAP UI or any REST API tool.Experience Preferred: * Suppliers: All Software Engineers are required to take HackerRank Coding .Net development experience (since we need to convert .Net code to Java codeEducation Required: * B.S.
