Description: The Data Migration Specialist is a key member of sales and operations team that manages and analyzes product and pricing files for all business segments within the Painters Supply organization. This position drives process improvement by organizing and developing actionable strategies through data management in collaboration with the Sales, Purchasing, Operations and Warehouse teams.

  • Coordinates accurate data integration with new business acquisitions.
  • Assists with data conversion and prepares system data for conversion to Compcept; inventory and sales system
  • Resolve conversion issues requiring in depth expertise with the Comcept system
  • Works closely with the Purchasing team to manage SKU accuracy
  • Regularly analyzes product portfolio and identifies SKU rationalization opportunities
  • Obtain and maintain expertise with the company's Comcept system functionality, setup and reporting
  • Conducts regular reviews of margin analysis for specific sales regions and customer accounts
  • Develops customer pricing profiles within Company guidelines
  • Manages vendor performance and sales out reports
  • Assists PSE Leadership Team with costing analysis and customer pricing matrix platforms
  • Initializes, executes and measures effectiveness of sales promotions
  • Works with sales leadership to coordinate and analyze sales commissions reports
  • Quickly manipulates and summarizes data to bring insights that are meaningful, actionable, timely, and aligned with top account objectives
  • Completes special data analysis projects for various departments
  • Consistently demonstrates objectivity when reporting findings
  • Some travel/overnight travel will be required as needed Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degreen in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business, Technical, Education, or Information Systems, and/or equivalent experience.
    • Experince in PBE (Paint, Body & Equipment), Automotive Parts, or similar industries is a plus.
    • Prior experience in data migration
    • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot tables)
    • Experience with Comcept is a plus
    • Strong expertise in data, project & time management
