Position Overview -AJM Packaging Corporation, one of America's
leading manufacturers of paper products, including paper plates,
cups, bowls and bags, is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Clerk
Specialist to manage the tool crib in our Taylor, MI
facility.Responsibilities & Duties:
- Submit requisitions for materials and equipment. Verify desired
quantities, specifications, time of delivery, as well as, approval
for each requisition prior to entering into system.
- Once materials and equipment are delivered for a
requisition/order, verify that all requested items have been
received. If there is any discrepancy between what was ordered
(e.g. quantity or wrong part) and what was received, research
discrepancies by reviewing paperwork and files, communicating with
the vendor and/or Purchasing Department.
- Mark and identify tools and equipment within tool crib.
- Communicate on a regular basis with maintenance manager and
purchasing regarding parts inventory levels.
- Data Entry into MS Excel, and our ERP system Microsoft Dynamics
- Run reports on a daily and weekly basis within AX and
distribute to management.
- Immediately notify the appropriate personnel of any significant
discrepancies in inventory levels from database.
- Thoroughly and properly investigate any inventory discrepancies
and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Develop and implement bar coding/QR coding of the placement and
organizing of goods and materials.
- Maintain current work order system and help implement future
EAM upgraded system.
- Complete all other duties the Supervisor deems necessary.
- Must be willing to be part of a larger team committed to
producing and shipping high volumes of quality products to our
customer regardless of your individual role. A one-team
