to find a qualified Psych RN in Northfield, Ohio, 44067! Job Title:

hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM) Experience:
Minimum years of experience required License: Current licensure as
a registered professional nurse in the state of Ohio
Certifications: None specified Must-Have: - Current RN licensure in
Ohio Description: Provides professional nursing care to patients in
a health services unit or facility. Observes, assesses, and records
symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients. Makes nursing rounds
and records vital signs. Prepares and administers prescribed
medications and treatment plans. Monitors restrained patients
regularly and provides immediate medical attention to emergencies.
Counsels patients regarding the need for medical referrals. May
schedule, assign, and review work of lower-level staff.
Participates in staff development and educates team members.
Reviews care plans and trains new employees. In a correctional
setting, responsible for the health care of bedridden patients.
Makes rounds and evaluates care needs. Administers medications,
including narcotics, and provides direct nursing care. Performs
specialized procedures, such as IV therapy, wound care, and CPR.
Oversees a 'code blue' team and directs health care staff assigned
to the area. Assists physicians with diagnostic health evaluations.
Performs clerical tasks, including charting and reporting.
Maintains inventory of all drugs and medical supplies. Arranges
out-patient clinic appointments and prescription refills. Acts as a
liaison with other departments and conducts meetings. Serves as an
instructor and participates in problem-solving teams. Major Worker
